To spread some sunshine by decreasing the tragic and unnecessary suffering of unwanted, neglected, stray, abandoned cats and kittens.
We are one of many all-volunteer, foster-based rescue groups doing our part to mitigate the tragic cat overpopulation crisis. Most of us have full-time paid jobs and do this life-saving volunteer work "on the side" although it usually takes more than 40 hours per week.
We live according to our favorite inspirational / motivational quote of all time: "What I do today is important as I am paying a day of my life for it. What I accomplish must be worthwhile as the price is high."

We also believe in the all-too-forgotten Golden Rule of doing unto others as you would have done unto you. This drives our passion for helping the tiny fur babies we rescue as they do not deserve to be neglected, abandoned, dumped, nor abused. If that were to happen to one of us, surely we would want someone - anyone - to help and rescue us from that miserable life.

All our rescue kitties have already recovered from spay / neuter surgery, been vaccinated for rabies & FVRCP, been dewormed with broad-spectrum dewormer, had topical Revolution applied, been tested for FIV & FELV, etc. The adoption fee of $140 helps cover part, but not all, of their vet costs.
If you or someone you know are interested in any of these cats or kittens from our 501c3 non-profit rescue, please email our adoption coordinator at spreadingsunshineanimalrescue@yahoo.com or text directly at 463-203-8292. We volunteers do our best to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours.
